Mrs. Plum is one of three cooks at the Ball & Socket Pub, and the only one who is named. She is a plump dead woman, with ribs showing on one side and her upper arms rotted to the bone. She is the one responsible for cooking the massive wedding cake for Victor and Emily's almost-wedding, and for later arming Victor with a fork during his duel with Lord Barkis.
Although Emily seems to see her as a motherly figure, Mrs. Plum is implied to be a bit man-crazy, asking if Victor has a dead brother when he first arrives in the Land of the Dead, and later shoving other corpses out of the way to greet Mayhew after he dies (as well as introducing herself as Miss Plum).
With the exception of Emily, Mrs.Plum is the final undead character shown in the film. After Lord Barkis drinks the envenomed wine and dies, she, as well as all of the other undead wedding guests, drag him back to their plane of existence to be punished. Before closing the door behind her, she expresses a sinister delight in the "new arrival", implying a grievous fate awaits Barkis in the afterlife.
