From the nightmare on Elm Street film series : The Dream Master. Poor Debbie Stevens (Brooke Theiss) just hates bugs, and Debbie doesn't play and will stand her ground~!
She is quickly dispatched by our odious Freddy as he reaches in her dreams and most mercilessly transforms our Debbie into a cockroach as she works out, our boy Freddy pushes down on the dumbbell causing Debbies elbows to literally break, the arms removed and the roach legs begin to sprout (We all can view some people as cockroaches) and with his twisted sense of humor, traps her in a roach motel and then crushes her before her friends can save her......
Again some of the masters from Mezco Toys have crafted us a masterful action figure collectible. From their Cinema of Fear series 2009 is its release date and a grand rendering of Debbie, with sets of normal arms, long roach arms and to just be quaint...the roach motel....long retired.....a must for those who love the macabre....

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET-FREDDY KRUEGER MOVIE MANIACS
In 1984, Wes craven created and directed “a nightmare on elm street”
which became a surprising commercial success, rave reviews and a cult
following to this day~!
Please pardon the term “spawned” a successful
line of sequels and highly detailed and sought after collectible action
figures pioneered by Mcfarlane toys with their elite Movie Maniacs
series that came out in the late 1980’s. These pinpoint detailed with
lifelike hues action figures included none other than Freddy Krueger
himself a perfect rendering (played with rapt abandon by Robert
Englund), one even has a Little Freddy” as an extra.
Happily armed with 4 long razor sharp blades embedded in the fingers of his gloved hand.
Freddy thirsts for revenge to be taken out on the children of the angry mob that
burned poor Freddy alive.
Freddy does so by entering the dreams of
his teenage victims, if Freddy kills them in their dreams, they then
perish in the real waking world. And bit of film trivia, Johnny Depp was
one of the victims in the original film.
Craven based his story
from the refugees of the Khmer Rouge genocide in Cambodia. Many
suffered from incredible disturbing nightmares after which, they refused
to sleep-there appeared “sudden unexplained death syndrome” among the
men. To add the finishing touch to his concept for the film upon hearing
“Dream Weaver by Gary Wright, the concept was sealed~!
Ironically
Craven was bullied at school by none other than Freddy Krueger hence the
killers name was born into horror film history.
Freddy’s sweater
was from the design of DC Comics character Plastic Man. Then colors used
where from Craven reading an article in Scientific America that those
were the most clashing
colors to the human retina.
And Freddy’s tale will continue…..
